Pumpkin.
This is a very tactile sculpture. The pumpkin is glazed with celadon which is both the name of the glaze and the colour.  It was developed and refined during the 10th and 11th centuries.   Celadon, the colour, has undertones of grey and jade which was poured over the pumpkin in layers to give it a beautiful gloss finish creating a glaze to compliment its form.
