New Work

I grow prehistoric vegetation in gardens near me.  I wait every spring for the leaves to grow large enough to hand pick suitable leaves from my garden for me to use in my work.  This year we have been blessed with supreme weather for growing these giant leaves.  I carefully pick them and then gently press them into the clay.  I then manipulate the clay to make a  sculptured form.  After this process and when the clay has dried the sculptural forms are fired many times, each time refining and adjusting in different glazes to create a beautiful piece of studio pottery.   My ceramic platters are both functional and sculptural and an absolute creative gift for any home or garden.

Click on the images above to find out more info on my new work.  Please contact me via my website contact page or DM through Instagram if you are interested in the Ceramic Platter or any of my work.

What People Are Saying

"I have enjoyed learning new skills with Jane on a recent workshop, who is a fantastic teacher.  I really loved the way that Jane is able to create fantastic pieces of work while still being able to help me produce lovely ceramic pieces.  I will definitely be visiting Jane's studio again to learn more from her.  Really exciting to see the fired piece that I worked on in her studio.  Plenty of inspiration."
